Apartment House

Apartment House is an adventurous British ensemble. They will be playing bass flute, bass clarinet, e-guitar, cello, percussion, prepared piano and melodica for the premieres by their compatriot Christopher Fox, our compatriot Stefan Van Eycken and ‘outsider’ Rytis Mažulis from Lithuania.

Singular musical pathways                                                                       Christopher Fox is known in Great Britain as one of the most individual composers of his generation, and difficult to categorize in one word.              Stefan Van Eycken is also following a highly singular path with his fascination for sound as the uniting principle of his oeuvre.
Rytis Mažulis’ minimalist music represents yet another musical extreme that at times refers to rock music.
