Nadar Ensemble
The youthful Nadar Ensemble will be premiering work by Nico Sall, Bram Van Camp and Frederik Neyrinck. This new crop of composers offer a sampler of the diversity that so typifies Flemish contemporary music.
Sall, Van Camp and Neyrinck
Nico Sall is inspired by mathematical and graphic structures and couples this to the spatial context. Bram Van Camp uses the auditory as a point of departure, modelling his composition towards a predetermined sound idea. Frederik Neyrinck, the youngest of the gang, is continually seeking a personal and up-to-date musical language.
Anciens
Bart Vanhecke and the Irish com-poser Jennifer Walsh are the more established composers. The video production of the latter’s A sensitive number for the laydeez will serve as an unusual closure.
